Hi! I’m Diane.

I have been a graphic designer since 2006.

Currently virtual, and freelancing from home.

Originally from San Diego, I moved to the Bay Area to study Visual Development/2D Animation at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco in 2009 in their graduate program. I started off designing logos, traditional print advertising, flyers, brochures, books, annual reports, etc! I’ve worked with tech and corporate companies from San Diego to New York to LA to San Francisco. In 2010, I became obsessed with creating a WordPress site for my art and design portfolio. A friend of mine in San Francisco was intrumental in helping me create my website on a WordPress site, thus the seed was planted.

I learned to build my own website from scratch and I was forever thankful. But it wasn’t until 2013 that I moved to LA that I started seeing a need for small business owners and entrepreneurs who needed websites built for their companies at a low cost alternative than what bigger companies were charging. So I started helping individual business owners, entrepreneurs, and small marketing companies.

I’ve worked for many companies in house, contract, and freelance. Some companies I’ve worked for: Hasbro Studios as a Product Designer, designing toys and concept illustration for the Disney Princess dolls line. I also freelanced with Skechers USA, and spent some time contracting in Salesforce as an Art Director and Senior Designer.

Today I set up and install custom WordPress sites for clients of all types, check out my UX Work section of this site for portfolio samples. I also really love the process and the journey of discovering how to design a site for a client trying to attract specific audiences, and how users can find information efficiently. I use a combination of themes from www.stnsvn.com and the Divi builder from www.elegantthemes.com in case you’re wondering. I love design thinking and helping people solve problems.
